Position Summary:

We’re looking for a Junior Civil Drafter with 2–3 years’ experience to join our team in North Sydney, NSW. You’ll work across civil infrastructure and land development projects, producing high-quality documentation to support engineering delivery across roads, subdivisions, and utilities.

This is a hands-on role within a collaborative team, with the chance to work alongside experienced engineers and contribute to major NSW-based projects from concept through to construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare civil design drawings for roads, subdivisions, earthworks, and utilities

• Use AutoCAD to produce accurate 2D documentation in line with project and client requirements

• Support senior drafters and engineers across various stages of design

• Interpret mark-ups and deliver clear, coordinated drawing sets

• Assist with QA processes, drawing registers, and file management

• Maintain strong attention to detail and consistency across all work

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers as part of a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications:

• 2–3 years’ experience in civil drafting, ideally across roads and land development

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D experience a bonus, not essential)

• Strong understanding of civil design standards and construction documentation

• Experience with local government or TfNSW standards highly regarded

• Ability to interpret engineering plans and deliver accurate, high-quality outputs

• Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
