We are seeking a highly experienced Marine Engineering Specialist to join a growing infrastructure advisory team delivering complex port and maritime projects across Australia.
This is a senior, technically focused role suited to an experienced professional with strong civil or marine engineering foundations, deep operational port experience, and the ability to act as a trusted advisor to clients across planning, delivery and asset management environments.

Commercial Director - North Sydney
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Director to Lead three high‑performing commercial teams across major infrastructure projects.
CJC is a specialist commercial, contracts, and engineering consultancy supporting Australia’s most significant transport and infrastructure programs. As we continue to grow, we’re appointing a Commercial Director to oversee our core commercial service lines and shape the next phase of CJC’s evolution.
Reporting to the executive team, you will lead three specialist groups:
- Transactions & Advisory: Procurement, commercial advisory, transactions, PPPs
- Secondment & Consulting: Embedded commercial specialists, contract administration, project consulting
- Claims & Disputes: Claims strategy, delay & disruption, dispute advisory
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and unify commercial teams under a cohesive strategy aligned with CJC’s growth objectives.
- Develop CJC’s commercial framework, methodologies, and service delivery standards.
- Contribute to business planning and national growth strategy
- lead all commercial and contractual oversight across the business.
