Overview
The West Gate Tunnel Project will deliver a vital alternative to the West Gate Bridge, providing a much needed second river crossing, quicker and safer journeys and remove thousands of trucks from residential streets.
CJC’s role encompasses several key roles and responsibilities as part of the Surface Works Delivery including Senior Delivery Director, Commercial, Project Management and Subject Matter Experts (SME) services, all integrating seamlessly within the Client’s Team.
CJC’s Role:
As subject matter experts (SMEs), CJC offers expertise in various domains, including steel fabrication and erection, precast fabrication and erection, specialist bridge erection, heavy lift reviews, programme reviews and analysis, as well as road opening strategy and delivery.
Our Commercial Team is involved in the day-to-day commercial management of the Project across all site and state issues. They are also responsible for providing commercial strategies from project delivery to completion.
Our responsibilities across the delivery of the West Gate Tunnel Project encompasses; collaboration with Contractor’s Management Team to meet project deliverables, managing compliance and progress of construction, liaising with State Departments, developing, and implementing road opening strategies, and facilitating the handover of assets to the Clients’ Operations Team.
