The proposed Project, King Georges Road Stage 1 (KGR Stage 1), will generally involve widening a 1.2 kilometre length of King Georges Road to provide three lanes in each direction, improving drainage and improving safety through construction of median and wire rope barrier to separate northbound and southbound traffic.

CJC role

CJC Management was engaged to undertake a constructability assessment at detailed design stage. Key deliverables of the constructability assessment included development of issues and opportunities register and weekly submission, utilities impact assessment, construction staging, a likely construction sequence, construction methodology and a peer review of the TfNSW detailed construction staging.

As part of the scope, CJC facilitated a constructability and health and safety in design (HSiD) workshop.

The outcomes of the constructability assessment and workshop were presented in a constructability report.
