Scope

CJC Management were engaged by Sydney Airport Corporation Limited to develop a Civil Assets Manual, provide ad-hoc friction testing training, and technical advisory services across the entire airfield.

Role

CJC Management produced a reference document to be utilised by Sydney Airport staff as guidance on the best practice and process for managing the maintenance of civil assets at the Airport. Such assets include airside and landside roads; runways, taxiways, aprons and parking areas; pavement marking; drainage network infrastructure; elevated roads and bridges and other elevated structures; grounds and landscaping; tree management for OLS, and others.

A further document which covers Friction Management at the Airport was requested as part of the scope. This included training and induction into friction management activities.
